360 degree camara

I met a startup which demo its 360 degree camera.

I said, what is your competitive advantage? 

he said, first, we can get the 360 picture with a device only two sides of cameras. it is difficult. As there are many competitors using more than 4 cameras to get and synthesize into a picture. seccond, the synthesizing and compression technology that make the transmission throughput low enough for high quality even 4k resolution. third, the software on pc that display the picture clear and easy to revise.

the only issues are the power consumption and required data bandwidth.

As it is very power consumption, so it is not esy to use battery. instead it need a power core.

As it take high resolution of pictures like 4k, it need a very high bandwidth and stable bandwidth. It prefers the ethernet or fiber instead of LTE. The 5G may serve the purpose. 10Mbps is a minimum requirement.

there are many use cases. for example, we can use it in a concert or ball game in stadium. one or several cameras may take a pananormal view for the concert or game. for example, it can be use for storefront surveillance. It may need a camera to monitor a big room of store or lobby. 

Its business model is to provide a package of services.

Enterprise can apply a package including several cameras, one platform portal and data communication fee.

It will not sell hardware only, instead it will include the hardware and platform service.
