未來發展的兩大創新動能

(1)    Business model innovation:  Reconfiguration of architecture, profit, R&D mode, market, industry chain...

(2)    Technology innovation:  Product upgrade, cost reduction, market share increase, competitive advantages...

但是創造這兩個動能的背後, 就是 big data and artificial intelligence (AI), which can automate business processes and add intelligence to support a model of real-time self-healing, self-adjustment and the ability to be proactive and predictive in responding to changing market conditions. Big data will enable machine learning and more decisions to be made by software so that manual processes are minimized.

對於電信商, Big data and AI可以幫助他們自動化精準的管理網路, 預防與維修, 也可以進而協助對客戶的滿意度與經驗的提升。

此外, 電信業者也可以在narrow-band IoT (NB-IoT) 應用, 雲端服務, 寬頻影音, 開放平台創造新的價值。

寬頻影音,Big Video, 主要是在VR/AR的應用, 可以結合AI, 快速的提供即時的,模擬的服務, ZTE認為 5G 網路將支援big video, 包含Full HD, 2K and 4K content 可滿足 VR/AR需求

開放平台, 也就是透過生態圈的合作讓skills, talent and expertise to successfully execute on initiatives. 最明顯的例子就是App Store 的做法, 讓更多人來持續創新與分享

Smart City 1.0 had isolated modules with a decentralised construction, which created data silos.

Smart City 2.0, makes use of data aggregation to create common objectives, a common architecture and common overall resource planning.

Smart City 3.0 concept that emphasizes the complete integration of big data into smart city operations. 這包含了許多開放的城市資料, 許多行動apps, 以及如何存取與應用這些數據.
