Why Lite-on did smart city?
Products: wireless Surveillance, automotive electronics, leoteck(light), LED street light,
I don't know what is IOT, because I find everyone talk about different things for IOT. But I know it is clear for smart city. We will focus on smart city.
The problems of Taiwan smart city: ugly, only city wifi, only PM2.5, .. no management, the government doesn't know what he want.
Smart city government should know why and what he wants and goes for the real solution. Define the problems and then define the user experience, such as parking lots, traffic information.
He suggests there are 6 pillars for smart city: presence, network/access as a service, sensors/ local algorithms, data, analytics, and action.
