5G is for predictive big data collection with communication. smart self aware system. 3 challenges for big data: broken, bad and background. Collect the sensor data, the cyber-physic /processing data and the controller data.
cyber part: controller part on cloud/ configuration/ recognition
physical data: connection part on sensors
between cyber-physical, conversation between sensor to cyber. Watchdog agent to collect and analyze the data and then predict.
A new book: 工業大數據
fleet: a group of similar assets to operate for the same works.
robotic arms across different factories. They are distributed but their data can be collected to be analyzed together.

Stan Schneider:
three types of IoT, enterprise, consumer and Industrial,
IIoT, industrial IoT, that means consumers don't buy.
distributed architecture: public cloud with security way.
Some examples:
1.GE health care IIoT architecture, fog routing node bridges between data models, QoS, security domains. real time video and waveform ,
2.Physio control, exchange critical care information thru the system to do emergence care
3.Field message bus: Solar power grid, how to manage the vibrating solar power generation, local loop to manage distributed power networks demand
4. After Autonomous cars realize, 30% of jobs will end or change.  There are 4 levels of autonomous cars. At level 4, the drivers will not control the car by himself. Fog routing node between data bus and cloud services.
He summarizes that in the future, networking and security is the key.
We can not put everything in the cloud or on things to compute, instead, fog routing is the key. DDS data bus, data centric sharing and filtering of future data, not only centralized database to store data and search for old data.
DDS, reliability, real time, scale and distributed.

The platform will be built to help improvement of productivity of manufacturing  and optimization of value chain.
