Gemalto provide a security identification system. That is called subscription mgt system.

4 key players, carrier, ESIM vendor, connected car makers, tier 1 supplier.
Gemalto provides eSIM to tier1 supplier, which will provide module to car maker. Car maker s buy Connectivity from carriers. Carrier will provide profile to Gemalto. Gemalto uses OTA platform to update the eSIM.

subscription mgt  function in 4 areas.
1.regulatory application, ex. ecall or local regulation.
2.connectivity swap fron one carrier to the other while car move outside.
3.insurrance business model,
4.test for a long time before commercial,
it is an issue regarding managing older cars.

2. validate SM SR changes from different carriers,
3. extend the platform capability, how to make sure the SIM security without recalling the cars.
