行動廣告in stream vs out stream

什麼叫 in stream ad?
In stream mobile ads are mostly found on apps -- the small programs that add functionality to smartphones. Often, app developers use in-stream ads on free versions of fee-based games. The ads stay on users' screens for a predetermined amount of time before users can use the apps. Users can disable the ads by upgrading to the paid versions of the apps.

In-stream ads look less like advertising than do banner ads, for example, so they're more likely to engage users. That's especially true with younger users, who are all but blind to banner ads. And, unlike banners and other channels such as paid search, which earn more revenue for the companies that display the ads than for the advertisers, in-stream ads benefit the content provider.

Out-stream impressions are video ad units unaccompanied by content. While a pre-roll or mid-roll ad requires a publisher's video to wrap around, an out-stream ad is a video ad unit not tied to any piece of publisher video content. Instead of running within a standard video player, these high-quality impressions can run within standard ad placements, on the corner of the page, or even within the content of a written article. They are designed to be 100 percent viewable, only deploying and playing when the unit is onscreen and the consumer is moving the page around.
